When people come to visit we take them to our best shopping, which is Walmart of course. Chris enjoyed the sights and thinks there's a lot of crazy people out there.
Molly got about 10 minutes from our house and her car broke down so Mark came all the way from Utah to tow the car back. He got here and his truck broke down and had to be fixed before the car could be towed. So I think it ended up being an expensive trip, but worth it for us and she and Whitnie were great helping grandma sort through things.
Even though we just went to Walmart, Ashlyn like dressing up and she constantly wore these beads that were grandma Udy's. She would not let us take them off.
Molly ended up in the back seat of the truck with the three kids, it was easier for us than taking 2 cars. At least it was easier for us in the front seat. I have some great pictures of all of us playing WII, but Whitnie didn't want me to put them on. It's a great game, but I need a lot of practice.

More on Mom
We have cleaned out mom's house, just waiting for the consignment shop to pick up the rest of her furniture, then we're off to Nampa Idaho to start a new life for her. Les came down over the week end and got what little furniture she wanted to use at our house. She will have a large bedroom set up like a studio apartment with a walk in closet and a bathroom to her self.
Everyone down here has said their goodby's and my sister Dolores flew back to Denver after a great visit. A tearful time for us all. In a few days I think I'll start a new blog spot just about her so that I can pretty much journal how things are going. I'll let you all know when I get it set up.
Dave, that would be a great way for you to comment to her and tell her how much you love her.
Well good night everyone, I'm exhausted.

News Update on Mom
Mom feel the doctors are wrong and she has Hotchkins disease and will die before her birthday. She may be right, but my job is to get her to live until she dies. My sister Dolores is here staying with her till Sunday and that has been good. The plan is to move her in with us in Nampa on Monday. My cousin Clarence said that if the cancer is in the lymph nodes, she may just be here a month. His wife is a hospice nurse. Lindsay is coming to Nampa Thursday to help mom go through things. And then Whitnie and Molly are coming next Sunday. This should all help to distract her. My heart aches for her, and the loss it will be for me. I'm just so thankful to have the honor of taking care of her in her latter days.

News Update on Mom
Tomorrow we meet with the cancer specialist to see for sure what the prognosis is. Today I tried to get her to pack a few things, but she just cried and doesn't want to let go of anything, even rolls of toilet paper, so I guess we will just pack it all up and move it to Nampa. I'm now kind of the bad guy, which kind of hurts, but I did expect it. Dolores my sister comes Thursday and hopefully that will cheer her up. It has got to be tough. The plan is for me to go home with my truck full of stuff, empty it and come back in a couple of weeks to get her and the rest of the stuff. That would hopefully give her time to adjust. But if this is all short term, I will just wait till Dolores leaves, and take her next week.

We will fix up the back room as kind of a studio apartment with a bed, chairs small fridge microwave tv and a drop leaf kitchen table that used to be hers anyway. It's a cheery room and quite large. I think she will enjoy it. She can still eat and watch tv with us, but when she wants to be alone, it will be a nice place for her.

News update!
- Grandma Udy went in for a biopsy today for the mass they found on her neck. They had a tough time dodging nerves and blood vessels. I was planning on going home tomorrow, but they said it could be 3-5 days before they get results, and I want to be here for her,if they have to operate.
- Exciting news though, Lindsay and Keith have finally been approved to adopt a baby! If you know anyone who is pregnant and unmarried and would like to have wonderful parents for their child, let us know. They have a web sight now.

Back in Utah
I'm in Utah with Molly, and she had her family over for the evening. Boyd;Marks sister Laurie's baby, wasn't too impressed, and slept all evening.
Cash and Ashlyn played quietly most of the evening. Well, except for the hair pulling and getting into things.
I ended up in Utah again, because my mom had to have an MRI, so I came down to take her to her appointment. Molly and her sisters-in-law's had a scrap booking night. They came up with some great pages.
Mark, his dad and brothers, played wii for awhile, then were looking up something on the computer.
Ashlyn was styling in her Goucho pants, looking for something to eat.
She finally got fed, and was content just watching everything going on.
