Les's Talents

We had pictures of butterflies on our patio that had faded. I asked Les if he had any pictures with the reds, oranges, yellows and greens that we had on the patio.
He loves to go to car shows and take pictures of cars, so he just went through his gallery of car pictures and came up with the ones we needed. It looks so much better and goes a long with the summer theme. Good job Les!

ATV's and Snow, not always a good combination

Ok I'm bored, and it's too windy and cold to take mom out. This was a trip a couple of weeks ago.
The first one to get stuck in the snow was me. My solution was just get off my atv and walk away. I put 2 other pictures on to show you the snow was up to the fender, but somehow they didn't copy.
Les Had another idea, such as getting the atv out. So thankfully he had a winch and a tow rope. This worked great, and everyone was glad he had them. They used his winch to get mine out.
Les makes a good straw boss telling everyone how to do it. First of all you'd think after the first one got stuck, we would find another way to get up the hill. There were 3 women on this treck too, but we just stayed out of the way and let them have the fun.
We all got out safely, and Les was trying to figure out how to get his new tow rope clean again. Seriously he was!

Sometimes you just have to get rid of things

This is actually a house, not a store or a museum in Idaho City.

It looks like the guy actually lives in his RV next to this place.

You can see through the windows, there is just as much inside as on the outside.

He has "keep out" and "do not trespass signs" all over. I'm sure he could make good money by charging to go inside. He could probably make really good money if he sold it all. It's all antiques.

Things I like about this Mother's Day

Having my mother living here has been so nice and to be able to spend Mother's Day with her has been extra special.

Having a good husband to make us breakfast and set the table is great!

Just having a good husband and a great family is wonderful! If I could have one more thing is would be seeing my children and grandchildren more often. But it's wonderful to hear from them and see pictures often.

Having food a plenty is also nice. We forget how blessed we are to live in a country of abundance and think nothing of it.
I love the beauties of the world and flowers especially. Our garden is constantly growing! This year we have Wade McIrwin Bishop born in Feb. Evie Greer Candence Hatch in April, Gunnar James Lamar Hatch in May and a new little Jolley coming in November. That makes 24.With Cooper on a Mission, Lauren in College, Keith and Lindsay have missionaries living with them, that counts too. We are truly blessed. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
