It was a beautiful day so we decided to go ATVing to our favorite place
It's quite a job getting ready, I guess, you don't see me out there!
Pilots Peak is a beautiful area. It's the highest mountain so you look down on all the other mountains from here. The bathroom facilities aren't great. No door on the porta-potty and it's strictly bring your own tp!
But the view from the restroom is beautiful and quite restful!
Pilot's Peak is actually a ranger station for fires and a satalite station for the media also. We sit on the cement patio you see out front and eat our lunch and enjoy the beautiful view. The trail is getting quite bad but it's worth the view! I will miss this about Idaho.

You obviously need to find a place where you can continue your "outdoor living" excursions. So . . . I think you should come and have a look at Prescott. It is just wonderful up here--beautiful scenery, wonderful weather with 4 mild seasons . . . not to mention ready made friends . . . and close to California without the weird politics, crazy traffic, etc. Plus--your kids will love coming to visit you here.
