Honks was our favorite 99 cent store. It was always neat and clean and fairly close. I understand they had been in business at that same location for years. About a year and a half ago they decided to make it a $1.05 store. Just out of principle, we stopped shopping there except when I needed something quickly. Obviously, others felt the same. Too bad.

Seriously, $1.05? Did they think no one would notice? As if the name wasn't bad enough. Too bad though. I love stores like that.
That is too funny that it went out of business. A bad business choice if you ask me. i mean everyone loves the .99 store :)
